the remaining cart can still carry both the unchanging Law and the Gospel. Now, in the extreme… an individual may in the power of the Holy Spirit push the pedal to the metal and attempt to correct an errant Church body. Note that according to Matthew, our Lord said to us, “Where two of three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” In other words, when you have Jesus, the saving Son of God… in your midst… the Spirit who is in charge of both sales and shipping, guides the modern Church along a clearly marked route of reconciliation. Built to ride on this path, and properly aligned… the Gospel will roll safely forth. We pray that this is the road the Church will soon travel.
Now…, may the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen
