Like the wise men of old, we need to look for that guiding star, Having even finite knowledge we need realize that we cannot guarantee our living into tomorrow without salvation in Christ. We may not last from one breath to another… let alone into and through the tumultuous year expected. Thus we are called to embrace the gift of eternal life with the Eternal One. Accepting this gift, you’ll find that your future life has already started to wind up when you began reading this offering. For sure, eternal life begins faster than the flash of electricity flows through the microprocessor in a vehicle’s engine control computer. As to any thoughts about your future in Christ Jesus, just think about these words given to us in the name of Saint Peter.. “But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved |
