dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire!  But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”

  Consequently friends, know that we live and work in a world that often spins like a runaway diesel. No governor, senator,  president or car manufacturer can predict what force will send shrapnel outward. The future of all tomorrows, you see... lay within the providential view of God.

 Why would God do such a gracious thing for us in the closing hours of the old, and the advent of a New Year?

 The answer is clearly stated…

  “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”

                         (John 3:16-18)

 

This is the good news for the New Year and for years to come!

 But for now, may the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding, keep you hearts and minds in Christ Jesus…  forevermore!
