funding of abortions through their clergy medical insurance. All of these run counter to scripture.

 Please realize that these rank issues listed here provide gross directional confusion in the public square. Disagreements over abortion, for example, publicly burns our Christian witness down faster than an Tesla car fire and strips the tread from evangelical tires. We must then ask, “What is now to be done?”

 I believe the answer to this question is found in the words of scripture. If the Word is received and kept holy by us, we are to wash any heretic’s dust off our hands and feet, and continue to drive down the dusty road into tomorrow. We shall lose some off course souls, but are called to rightly exercise our faith.

  Jesus said to Thomas, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.”      (John 14:6)

 

 Subsequently, because of the exclusivity found in this text I now call concerned Christians to pray that our Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier... our God who guides the alignments of even the stars in the universe, may see fit to unfold our collective future unto good will for his peaceful kingdom. I dare venture that future conversations held between denominations should attempt aligning us toward promoting life-giving Christian witness. Let the wheels of the Church chariot move ahead.

So it should be… and so I pray.
