As I left him that afternoon and wound my way through the ruts of the gravel road, thoughts about our differences were left behind in the dust. I admire Otto and his car hobby. I wondered if he would find the time to do as he said and read the book. As I dodged a pothole, I thought further that we still have much in common. We both believe in Jesus. We both love cars. He hasn’t really retired... and I haven’t either.
