attention to the global warming problem. I say to you though this may be true, we have not first paid sufficient attention to the heat caused by our opposition to the will toward life by our Creator.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Jesus’ purpose in going to Jerusalem was not to become a worldly political leader. He went to Jerusalem to die there. He went as a prophet, a priest and a king… to pay the penalty for our sin and the faulty human agendas that come from sin. He went to Jerusalem to fool rank Satanic powers into believing that they had won the day, and then he was raised again by the love of the Father. His resurrection was, and still is… the turning point of all history. He changed the end result of political disasters, earthquakes, floods and tragedies caused by human waywardness.

 We believe that heaven exists, but we tend to forget that so does hell. Thus we need to learn that through our belief in salvation by faith in Jesus

Christ, the Spirit will guide the people of God past the fires of hell on earth. So let us resolve as people who are saved by God’s grace though faith given… to face the task of rescue from a virus and harmful political intrigue. Let us work out of thankfulness. Indeed, we can work with persons of other faiths… or even with those with no faith… to provide relief from these murderous demonic powers. But let us do so for the right reason. If we are asked why we work so openly and freely… it is not that one person’s suffering is worse than another… it is simply, “because Jesus Christ is Lord.”

 We are called to do as our Lord would do… rescue the lost and downtrodden before they too are murdered.

 

Now…, may the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Amen
